Happy New Year loves!! Seriously where did 2017 go? I feel like every year that I get older the years just zoom by, and I don't like that feeling lol!! However, I'm learning to embrace looking forward to the new year!
Question: Do you write resolutions? I used too, every year I commit to a few things but by the time June hits (lets be honest by March!) I'm already over them and going back to my old ways!! - I know I'm not alone in this! This year I knew that there would be no more results, but I still was trying to decide what I wanted to focus on in the new year and then I found it! A few days ago I stumbled upon a Instagram story that said " What 5 words will you use to define 2018?" I said to myself " Yes, I'm doing that and it will be so simple!" In reality choosing just 5 words to define 2018 was really hard, however I finally found them and I am going to share them with you!

1. To be Audacious-showing a willingness to take surprisingly bold risks.
This year will have some bold/ major changes for my life and I can't wait to tell you about them so when I found audacious, I knew that this HAD to by my first definition of 2018!
2. To always choose Joy-the emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying; keen pleasure; elation
Last year was definitely a emotional roller coaster ride to say the least. I let people steal my happiness! Not this year, in all things I'm choosing JOY!

3. To be Purposeful- having a definite purpose in view; determined
I want to live a life that has purpose! I want everything that I do to have meaning behind it! Since we're starting the new year, theres no better time than now!!
4. To embrace being Luminous -radiating or reflecting light; shining; bright
Last year someone told me that I was the light of the party.. confused, I asked if they meant life. No, you're literally the light, your smile is bright and you're shining girl! This year I'm really going to embrace it! I'll be spreading my light every where I go to everyone I see!!

5. To say Yes-to give an affirmative reply to; give assent or approval to
The most simple word, yet the most powerful. I do say yes to most things, but I also say no to a lot of things as well. Mostly because I am afraid of how things will turn out if I say yes and what not. However, I'm not going to be afraid anymore! This year I want to say YES to new experiences, to new adventures, new food, and more. To start this off I will be reading the Year of Yes! You can purchase it here!
